Welcome to IWETHEY!

New Water leaks in body are a killer in old rigs.
Even if the truck part is OK, dry rotted wood can be a problem.

Check it out before you lay out the cash!

Class A or class C?

But, if good rig, lots of BLM space to camp on for next to nothing in the West.

Just to stay away from winter, I'm in my class-C in Central FL as I write this.

New no dry rot, per friend. 2 seams need to be redone.
not so much interesting in the camping as end stage, paid for housing unit.

New I cant tell class differences anymore it is a flat nose rig
it has been many years, are the truck stops still rv friendly? Not going to plug anything in until I get home so all connections can shake out. Will need showers on the way.

New Re: are the truck stops still rv friendly?
Yep, at least the Flying-Js are. Many have special RV areas for parking overnight. I use the one in Brunswick, GA as halfway stop between home and FL. I get 3 cents/gallon off with a loyalty card to boot.

Also, many Cracker Barrels have an RV spot for staying overnight. Also, most but not all Walmarts let you park overnight. Local ordinances sometimes prohibit that. So, you need to ask "the desk" to avoid a cop's knock on the door in the middle of the night.

Out West many casinos have free overnight parking or at least below market rate camping.
