If I've got a mailbox that receives regular emails from a wide range of sources, all summarising things in a digest format, is there a product that facilitate scraping the things being summarised using some kind of user-configurable template doodad, and then dump them into a database for analysis/reporting? (i.e. "for email address foo@bar.com, use data scraper template foo")

Or have I got to go and fire up a code monkey?

Is it amenable to being hooked up to something that can receive emails and then do stuff to them?

I guess in a perfect world the Scraper-Matic 5000 would be capable of being hooked up to and subsequently monitoring an Exchange mailbox.
