The Qu'ran also makes perfectly clear that a second or later wife MUST ONLY be a widow or divorcee, and in both cases, she must have already have children before entering into a marriage as a second wife to a Muslim. She must also only be a Muslim, or at the very least a Kitabi (Christian or Jew), but definitely not a non-Kitabi non-Muslim. And she CANNOT be a previously unmarried woman without children. It was for the provision of the now lone previously married woman, who has already had at least one child, that exception was given in Islam for a Muslim man to marry a second, and up to a fourth, wife. Having said that. Islam also requires that on marriage, the children of the second wife go into the care of their biological paternal grandmother, or if the paternal grandmother declines due to finances, into the care of the biological father directly (assuming he is still alive because he divorced her, and didn't leave her a widow because he died). So, it is quite clear that Muslim men are not allowed to marry as a second wife a female that is a virgin or previously unmarried, yet this is what Muslim men use the exception for. I only ever see Muslim men trying to get virgins as second wives, especially little young ones. It's disgusting and prohibited. Second marriage is not for the benefit of the Muslim man. It is for the purported benefit of she second or later wife, as indeed she must have been married and a non-virgin with at least one child, because no one would want to marry these categories of women. These days, women can provide for themselves, so some scholars also prohibit second marriages on this basis too. Thus, virgins, whether previously unmarried or previously married virgins, or simply any woman without already having at least one kid, don't have issues getting herself a husband. So these are not allowed as second or later wives to Muslims men in Islam. Even if a Muslim divorces his only wife, he still cannot marry a previously unmarried virgin as his new sole wife. He must choose from a previously married female because the option of a previously unmarried virgin is available for one's first marriage only. So to the maker of this website, I implore you, if you are a Muslim and don't want to spread vice, make sure every women who signs up is: 1) a woman who has had at least one child, 2) is Muslim or Kitabu, 3) cannot provide for herself in the modern era. If you promote anything else, you're as deviant as what you call the western sexual perversion and immorality, since it is clear for who the Islamic exception for second and later marriages was given, and it sure wasn't for the sexual gratification a horny Muslim man, especially one expecting a virgin second wife who has no kid. And before you mention Ayisha being a virgin subsequent wife of Muhammad, indeed, she was, but as many things in Islam concerning what Muhammad was allowed vs what Muslims are allowed; Ayisha was an exception to the exception given to Muhammad only.
