amazon is not your friend

Interesting.
But we should keep in mind that web sales isn't the whole picture. The Census Bureau says retail sales were $453B in April 2016. Amazon's annual sales are $70B (I don't know if that includes AWS and all the rest). Big companies want to grow by squishing smaller competitors. Film at 11. It's not a web thing. Cheers, Scott. |

I just remember the same phrase used with microsoft
always look out for number one and don't step in number two |

Yeahbut...
It's a bit different. At least so far. AFAIK, Amazon isn't doing per-browser exclusivity agreements or something. ;-) Of course, one needs to keep an eye on large companies, no matter what. Cheers, Scott. |

Trump says so, so it must be true! :)
Alex "There is a cult of ignorance in the United States, and there has always been. The strain of anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that "my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge." -- Isaac Asimov |
