Hasn't the concept of 'the market will correct' always been based on a lie? The only way this strange concept will work is by people behaving rationaly. How often does this happen? Give it a break. Owners of wealth do not subscribe to any philosophy which avers that the betterment of the lower classes in any way can ever translate into more wealth for themselves.
