Welcome to IWETHEY!

New Very good.
Google (or someone) should come up with a way to easily log into public WiFi places but protect users from such things. I hope they are thinking about this while they're working on their password-free logins.

Thanks.

Cheers,
Scott.
New turn wifi off on your phone and laptop
always look out for number one and don't step in number two
New Part & parcel of WiFi
Once connected, everyone is inside the bubble, even on WPA protected networks (also see FireSheep). The trick with the black box is possible due to certain operating systems being configured out of the box to connect automatically to unprotected networks. You know, for convenience. Android and Windows are particularly bad in this respect, not sure about iOS.

The only fix is to disable the autoconnect (if possible), and use only SSL/TLS connections to anything/anywhere.
New also in a different note don't pay bills online here
always look out for number one and don't step in number two
