The 7 sisters became BP and a lot of jobs were lost all over the US and overseas. Oil is more that folks manning the pumping stations. It is pervasive across the economy. I have seen some figures that certain segments of the shale economy have a $63 a barrel break even price. All of the newer companies have a mountain of debt to get where they are that will never be repaid. Guess who gets to eat that? I could certainly believe $20 oil if certain conditions are met.
