surprised that scientists at nasa have never heard of the maunder effect on climate. It maybe that the rise in C02 may save us from some heavy cooling you can kill people for America at age 18 but need to be 21 to buy a beer |

Missing the point.
They track solar output vs. temperature. If a Maunder minimum came back, sure, it would cool things off. But that says absolutely nothing about where the current temperature rise is. It's not the Sun, as shown by the graph. Regards, -scott Welcome to Rivendell, Mr. Anderson. |
