A couple of years ago, I bet a co-worker that Kessel wouldn't score 40 goals. He had 37 that year. The guy I bet wrote a script that sent me a text message whenever Kessel scored. Drove me nuts. I think he got something like 1 goal in the last 12 or something like that. I got the guy's 10 bucks that year and this year I bet him again. Waddaya think? Did I make a good bet or a bad one? I've loved the Leafs since 1967 but when they got that arsehole from Bastan, and then *WORSE* gave him an 8 million/year 8 year contract, I quit cheering for them (Note: the Leafs are paying 1.25 million per year to *not* have Kessel on their team. Dollars to Donuts that was Babock). I was *delighted* when they got rid of Kessel and I've always held that he was a good second or third line winger, but that he'd never score 40 in his life. What do you think?
