It's an "oldies" station I rarely listen to that has a male and a female broadcast in the morning (their banter is normally too cute by half for my taste), but the male reported that the DOW futures were 700 lower. Then he said, "Just because the futures are lower, doesn't mean the market will close 700 lower. But there is an upside to this even if it does. If you're out there with a 401K, then your money is going directly into the market. If the market does go down that much, then the money you're putting into the mutual funds will buy more shares because the price will be lower." I laughed aloud.
