New Oh Hell Yes!

Drew
New Wish it was out at a drive-in
because this movie is perfect for being seen at a drive-in.

Satan (impatiently) to Newcomer: The trouble with you Chicago people is, that you think you are the best people down here; whereas you are merely the most numerous.
- - - Mark Twain, "Pudd'nhead Wilson's New Calendar" 1897
New Yup, especially the one in Twentynine Palms
They let you bring little charcoal grills and coolers. That's right, bring your own food and booze to a drive-in.

Life was good.

Drew
New Did you watch it last night?
or will you catch the repeat this Saturday?

Satan (impatiently) to Newcomer: The trouble with you Chicago people is, that you think you are the best people down here; whereas you are merely the most numerous.

New Got it recorded
Fell asleep halfway through, which says nothing about the movie. I was beat.
--

Drew
New So, did you watch it? What's the verdict?

New Been taking advantage of the good weather
Working in the yard all day, too tired for TV at night.
--

Drew
New Have you watched it yet?

Satan (impatiently) to Newcomer: The trouble with you Chicago people is, that you think you are the best people down here; whereas you are merely the most numerous.

New Wow, totally forgot ... maybe tonight
Problem is everyone else in the house already saw it.

New Thanks for the reminder
The first one was a triumph of the genre: cheesy stupid fun. The second wss a surprise: funny dialogue, wall-to-wall pop culture references, and completely over the top.

This one was short on great lines, didn't go for many topical gags, but OH MY GOD THE STUPID IT BURNS HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

Lots of fun but I won't watch it again, unlike the second one.

People from Iowa are often kinda dumb, but their English isn't that bad, even though they come from Central America.
