New Weirdness with Dell T110 II Server
If the computer has two bootable SATA drives, even if they are not the same brand, and regardless of BIOS boot priority, which one the server boots on is entirely random, and not necessarily the same from one boot to the next.

Dell tech support was not able to explain or fis this problem.

New No
There can be only one device on a cable, so all devices provide termination.

New Have you seen this Russian site?
Link: Using the System Setup Program and UEFI Boot Manager.

Any chance that the motherboard battery that powers the NVRAM needs replacing? It would let the NVRAM forget stuff. I am assuming that this is a still current design practice.

The strain of anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that "my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge."

I'll let you know if he says it helped any.
New Well, he said he went over all that for hours . . .
. . with Dell tech support. Tech support has written it up and submitted it as a bug.
New This brute-force approach may be worth trying.
