Damn it's ugly.
Just spotted an apple watch in the wild.

You're ahead of me there.
They are thick for sure. I'd get the larger (42 mm) face to make it less obvious. Other than that, they're supposed look like fine jewelry! :) What do you expect for $84 worth of parts in a basic watch? As a stockholder, I like the margin! For now, I'll keep my arm un-tatooed just in case. Alex "There is a cult of ignorance in the United States, and there has always been. The strain of anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that "my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge." -- Isaac Asimov |

Yeah, way too thick
The metal bands look okay, but the one with the white rubber(ish) strap looks like a toy. -- Drew |

Cow-orker has the white one :-)
And a leather strap for dress up. Regards, -scott Welcome to Rivendell, Mr. Anderson. |

Compare it to the 360
It doesn't look near as thick any more. Regards, -scott Welcome to Rivendell, Mr. Anderson. |

A cow-orker has one.
It's not as big as I expected, particularly when compared to a Moto 360. Those are *really* big in comparison. The largest Apple watch is 42 x 35.9 x 10.5 mm, the smaller model is 38.6 x 33.3 x 10.5 mm, and the 360 is 46 x 46 x 11.5 mm. As far as the aesthetics go, that's obviously in the eye of the beholder. In photos I like the 360 better, but side by side I'd have to go with the Apple watch simply due to sheer size. It's not my sort of gadget, regardless.
