How many Watts was the old graphics card and how many for the new?

Just for grins, monitor the CPU temperature. You might need to upgrade the case fan(s).

Remember, this one runs cooler than the slower, older card.

ETA: Just checked. Whilst playing Crysis 3 - a very graphically demanding game - with max settings at 1920x1080, the GPU temperature is a steady 60C.
