New I see 35
I'm trying not to fool myself that I'm seeing differences just because I know how wide each bar is, but I swear I'm seeing 35.

Drew
New That can't be right.
I see over 35 variations and I'm not a tetrachromat. The banding/dithering seems to be causing issues.

What do you know... Snopes.

A better test is here (but it's time consuming).

Cheers,
Scott.
New 359 on that test

New 281, got bored with it and stopped halfway through
I scored just about perfect on the first two sets of swatches.

New That second test AGAIN?
:p

I'm sure it's been linked at least three times on here (inc. previous incarnations of the board)

Still, can't resist, so off I go!

Edit: scored 4 :D

This vindicates not only my eyes, but also the colour calibration of my cheapo Korean monitor.

New It did look familiar. ;-) I quit after the first row (no mistakes there).

I remember doing it a few years ago and getting a perfect score (0).

Wade.
