New Sports teams don't generate income
Every analysis that I have seen says that when you look at it objectively building stadiums is a losing proposition economically. Here are some links

New No wonder they used to play in Ball Parks
and not Stadiums when Baseball was first founded. Anyone remember Sportsman's Park in St. Louis?

I think the owners got ticked when someone added to the Stadium Bill that the owners of the team have to pay money if they sell the team or move in 30 years. Also part of the profits goes back to the State. The bill didn't pass as they didn't have time to review it in the previous session. Maybe next session?

I am free now, to choose my own destiny.

A record-setting ne plus ultra of sheer imbecilic vacuity.
