US companies have substantial assets in India and have shifted alot of programming, maintenance, call centers, etc. to India. In the event of war (especially nuclear) these may be all or partially destroyed. Do you think an event like this will make companies think twice about sending work abroad?

As for companies who invested or put up programming sweat shops there, serves them right for putting US Citizens out of work to move IT labor into India or Pakistan. Besides it gives them a chance to try out that "Disaster Recovery" plan that they should have had in case of a war, nuclear fallout, Second Coming Of Christ, or the PHB ran magnets over the backup tapes again. *I am free now, to choose my own destiny.*
