Not too bad considering the almost $1000 differential between the Mk II and the Mk III.

I think someone at Canon is feeling the breath of the mirrorless brigade in their neck and hopes bigger numbers and more of everything will keep the faithful from bolting.

But Peter is right: the 5D was intended as an advanced amateur camera (the 1D series are the full on pro models). 50 MP is silly numbers territory for that kind of use. One can argue that the price point has moved it away from that market segment and into the bling segment. In that case, being able to stuff a TB class drive may be spot on. I do know at least a few people who are put together that way...
