I admit I've paid too little attention to the Billion-rubles Club, the cancelled investigations of the nasty series of Apartment bombings and the (claimed) entirely-faked rationale for the Chechen invasion, as Yeltsin was fading.. but others here may have persevered. As to whether Frontline is as deluded as Shrub's soul-seeing eyes and other aspects of Putin's early-on charm-offensive in the West? (Evidence of FL's ineptness.. any?)

Short form: seems that Corruption matches dis-US versions: ours are institutionalized, diversified whereas Russia's main Owner seems to be--via Rosinvest and n others--pretty much proxies-for-Vladimir (both Systems using the usual dummy-Corp shell games and financial CDO-grade scams.)
Or: FL has snared a score of good actors with bad data and hidden motives. But it's easiest to choose Corruption as the raison d'etre of most billionaires (and flexible serial-terms arranged for this President; as irregularly irregular as the USSC-sElected Presidency of Duh.) Finally, their ratio of plutocrat-Wealth to the plebs' slice: transcends even the expensively perfected dis-US-model kleptocracy.

(And both stage wars for the oldest motives--well covered in Macbeth--screw the heaped-dead-bodies. And fuck-you again! Cheney/Shrub and the whole-New US Congress of diseased Clowns.)
