Nexus 9.
I've been waiting for something like this for quite a while, but I don't see a compelling enough case to make me want to buy it yet.
Nice hardware, and the available keyboard cover would seem to solve a lot of problems in using it for real "work", but the price...
Nexus 9 32 GB with WiFi = $480 (0.96 pounds)
Keyboard cover = $130 (0.76 pounds)
Total = $610.
Refurbished April 2014 Macbook Air 11" - $770. (2.3 pounds + charger)
I hope it sells well, and they obviously can cut the prices later if they want, but it's going to be a hard sell as an "impulse" purchase.
Tablets seem to be in a lull at the moment. Phablets are stealing a lot of their previous thunder, and at a similar cost to a more portable and capable phone, well...
