Did your IP address change?
Converting IP addresses into geo locations is just reliable enough that people still do it. But there are still lots of gotchas. Case in point: I'm part of a global company head-quartered in the US. So Google tends to think I'm there instead of where I really am (Sydney). Wade. Just Add Story http://justaddstory.wordpress.com/ |

think so, the ip block is owned by folks in phoenix
there may be a data center in idaho falls. Bit comcast and time warner were mucking about with their backbones yesterday that may have affected routing. But google news used to have a change location on their main page but that has been turned off unless you log in.
