My Sony e-ink reader looks fabulous in bright sunlight. Not tried a Kindle Paperwhite. Colour e-ink has been "just around the corner" for years. I don't remember what they said the most recent hurdles where. Wade. Just Add Story http://justaddstory.wordpress.com/ |

No, you're right
Kindles were fine in bright light, but they were never as pretty to read as a real book or a color tablet (indoors). When they get color e-ink on a paperwhite, that will be spectacular. -- Drew |
