In March, 1992 they released a working paper that showed a sharp increase in the concentration of wealth even since 1983, with the share of the top 1 percent of families rising from 31 to 37 percent. What happened in 1982? Oh yeah, the beginning of the Reagan Revolution that flipped the tax code on its head.
