New Presidential Review Group on NSA policies - Report.
Released a few minutes ago.

"LIBERTY AND SECURITY IN A CHANGING WORLD"

http://www.whitehous..._final_report.pdf (308 page .PDF)

Richard Clarke (of the famous warnings that al Qaeda was going to try to attack) is one of the authors.

(The copy at the NYTimes apparently is just a PDF image and is not searchable. The above PDF is a real, searchable, PDF.)

Cheers,
Scott.

New Re: Hmmmm...
There is a reason I wrote... hmmm.

Read it. The fast reading I did is interesting. Agrees partly with Snowden and would like to see more controls and other feedback etc... but no change in the the program other than that.

New Bated breath; that'll take a ... While. Muchas gracias.
New too easy on non USAians
the only change there should be do not release info deleteriously unless the target is a terrierist, pol or criminal.
Not easy enough on the USAians and who is going to pay for all of that storage required?
