Welcome to IWETHEY!

New Liesman is more of a straight arrow than Joe Kernan.
Joe is practicing for position on Fox "News".

So, Cruz is not from Vera Cruz? Oh, I forget, he's really Canadian! :)
Alex
New really don't know either
Any opinions expressed by me are mine alone, posted from my home computer, on my own time as a free American and do not reflect the opinions of any person or company that I have had professional relations with in the past 58 years. meep
New I can vouch for one of them
I know Joe Kernan and have for the past 6 years. He and Joe Donnelly (new senator from my district) and I all have a baseball connection - we all love it and Donnelly coached at the same little league park that I do (before he took on his new jobs). As a rule, my view towards politics has been "how do you know when a politician is lying - their lips are moving" but I have gotten to know both of these men personally and we share a great many views and I know they are sincere and have good intentions. I wouldn't trust their PARTY to pick flees off of my dog's ass, but these men had to "get elected" and they are both straight shooters and willing to try (which was the original point).
Just a few thoughts,

Dan
New So...
Your rule has an exception, since you personally know him.

I'm sure Ted Cruz is a nice, upstanding guy when he isn't "doing" politics either. I'm sure Sarah Palin is as well. Barack Obama, I am very sure he is the bestest... when not being pResident. Hey... Joseph McCarthy, he was probably a straight shooter "that guy" off the political grind.

Yeah, I don't care if Another Scott became an Elected Official/Politician, he'd be a MFAC, just like all the rest. Power changes people, no matter what. You Dan... you wouldn't have to change... you are already a MFAC.

New NOooooo
Greg,
You've cut me to the core... And of course I am an MFAC. I was on vouching for the "fact" that Kernan is a straight shooter, not that he shoots straight. Clear? I am pretty sure that Palin and Obama and even "W" would be welcome at my picnic (although I don't think I could stomach Barney or Nancy).

I do wish to thank you for pointing out the vacuousness of my name dropping and the total lack of a real point that I had/have. I have not had real interaction with any Critters (unless you count RMN's famous kiss to my forehead on his whistle stop tour in '68 that made the front page of all the local newspapers and permanently attached me to one of the most famous politicians of our generation and sent me on a lifelong disillusionment starting the day of his resignation and through the "I didn't have sex with THAT woman... We'll read it after we sign it... etc...) until hanging out with the local Joes.

So, just keep in mind as you go posting slander at me, that I have friends in high places.

I fart in your general direction, uberMFAC.
Just a few ostentatious thoughts,

Dan
New Re: I should apologize...
For lumping in Sarah Palin in with all those other politicians. Ted, Joe, Barack... yeah, that really was mean to them.

But then you go and let the Dubya Bomb...

And yeah, I understand the difference between being a "Straight Shooter" and Shooting Straight.

Pointing out "vacuousness" in your post... so, your other posts aren't? (bwahaha, sorry had to)

So, I'll watch out for slander... I see it dripping most times from Tea Party members lips.
