It's a review of a mid-80s trial, convictions with humongous sentences--akin to the similar 'satanic worship series'. This one in Kern County CA
... a speed-through area on cycles, just outta Bakersfield.

Here the pre-programming of children.. an epidemic of similar Plays ensuing: led to several copies of events portrayed here (with original victims.)
Withheld evidence by prosecution showing children unmolested (in terms charged) and similar overt illegal actions: a litany of such.

6-15-20 Years for the cases to be reversed.
(But even the questions by prosecutors at those 'Innocence Project' hearings were surreal..)
And about all it took to trigger was: maybe One Bat-shit-crazy 'social worker'.

Before 2000 this Was surreal.. today, I wot: would this travesty even Surprise?

Have happened.

Once such: A man that was married 27+ years and helping raise his grand kids... after raising kids. Very much an open person about anything in his life. Nothing to hide kind of person. No need to hide anything. A pillar of many community circles. IOW, someone that really had nothing to worry about in these regards. Helped with anything or anyone that needed it.

His Oldest (Don't remember son or daughter) had "hypnotic" memory recovery done about 12 years ago. They recovered "sexual" memories and improved them and focused into them...

The Dad was arrested, convicted on these memories and sentenced to horrifically long term (like 40 years for all "remembered" occurrences), more than 15 years after the acts "took place"... Family ripped apart, recovered memory person, ostracized from family and community and moved to another state to get away from the ridicule.

A few years ago, the Hypnotic Therapist (or whatever they are called), had a sordid past. A Gold Digger kind of person, looking for fame and money all the time. This person eventually revealed and admitted she planted *MANY* memories and was a fraud.

Yeah, the prosecuting attorney, chose not to do anything about this guy's case... so he still is trying to get a re-trial.
