We don't use Safari unless we have to - we use FF on our Macs. No particular reason - we're just used to it and I like TabMixPlus too much for my own good.

Apparently Safari is notorius for memory leaks - http://www.jwz.org/b...stead-of-firefox/ - though the comments say (as of a year ago) that they've gotten better.

If you're using any add-ons in your Safari installation, try removing them. Sometimes it's the add-ons that leak. Someone here was having similar issues - https://discussions....?start=0&tstart=0 - removing AdBlock(er) fixed it, but others said they weren't using it and were having the same problems...

If you like Safari, you could try one of the nightly WebKit builds. It might not tickle whatever the problem is in the version of Safari you're using.

http://nightly.webkit.org/ (Haven't used it myself, but I used to play with FF Nightlies for a while. Just install it in a directory where you can delete it if you decide not to keep it.)

HTH a little. Best of luck.

Cheers,
Scott.
