They wanted the things they did with computers: communication, creation, entertainment, etc. If they can get that through their phones, what do they need the PC for? Yes, geeks are the exception. And yes, many forms of creation are easier with peripherals like keyboards and mice, but most people consume far more than they create. -- Drew
