New Fun with QtWebKit HTML5 Video
Robin Dunn, of wxPython fame, has a new job working at Enthought on PyQt/PySide and other things. Here's an interesting post on his first day on the job...

What a nightmare. It's amazing to me that he (and some of you folks) can do such things.

Cheers,
Scott.
New I like the description of the recursive dependancy.
"... two chickens to make one egg."

New Well, in all fairness, it does
if you're hoping to eventually get more chickens out of said eggs... recursively, as it were.
New Feels ike Evironment/Compiler bootstrapping
Had to be done in every environment for C/UNIX install.

About 15 years ago I wanted to use KDE under Solaris. It needed QT. It needed a specific compiler. It needed lots of supporting libs. I spent about a week pulling together everything needed before I could even launch the desktop via a remote X-term, and compiled many pieces in the process.
