Welcome to IWETHEY!

New Interesting. The NY Times is getting trickier...
It used to be that one could delete everything including and after the "?" in their URLs to read the whole article after reaching the free limit.

This morning, that trick no longer works. Clearing it and hitting the "X" to stop loading doesn't seem to work either (at least on this combination).

Hmmm...

[edit:] Clearing all the NYTimes cookies didn't seem to change the behavior either.

Cheers,
Scott.

New Killing javascript still works
--

Drew
New Thanks. Using another browser works too.
I still do most of my browsing in FF. Popping over to Chrome to look at the NY Times works fine without any other changes (I guess the cookies are different enough).

I guess they're eventually going to force us freeloaders to have 15 different browsers to read their stuff during the month unless we want to turn off Javascript and do other similar things. :-/

Thanks.

Cheers,
Scott.
(Who would gladly pay $50 a year, but not $35 a month, for a subscription for the skimming I do there.)
New Incognito mode has worked for me
Right click -> open in incognito window

Welcome to Rivendell, Mr. Anderson.
New Ah, "Private Browsing" in FF does the same.
Tools -> Start Private Browsing (or Ctrl-Shift-P).

Thanks.

Cheers,
Scott.
