New Microsoft MCSE/MCSD training
I am looking for a place that will offer this training at a reasonable rate. I will most likely have to borrow the money to take the courses; however, it should pay off when I land a good job with it.

Is there a directory of Microsoft certified training centers and their locations? I'd like to find one near me, but so far I haven't found any except really expensive ones.

Also if possible I need to find the ones that will also offer Java and C++ training.

I am free now, to choose my own destiny.
New Re: Microsoft MCSE/MCSD training
Be aware that a full MCSE course on Windows 2000 (for example) will run you circa $4000 plus you have to take 7 exams.

It's harder than it looks.

New Alternatives?
$4000USD is that just for the Windows 2000 part, or the whole series of classes for an MCSE covering Windows 2000?

Or should I just go to a local state college, and get certified in IS Programming and take VB, Java, C++, and other courses for a 60 hour degree at $200USD a credit hour?

New That's JUST Windows 2000.
For the administration, deployment, network design, yadda yadda yadda, course.

Enough of my yammering, here's the [link|http://www.microsoft.com/traincert/mcp/mcse/requirements.asp|skinny].

New How much for the whole thing?
Say I want an MCSE degree. How much total will this monster cost me? If more than $12,000USD I might as well get a college certification?

New That /is/ the whole thing.
If you want MCSD or MCDBA, then I dunno. But for an MCSE, which is overwhelmingly a systems management/network design certification, you're looking at the thick end of $4K plus exam costs.

New Thanks, I will consider it
an option. I want to find something that will help me stand out from the others. Most of them are 4 or 6 year degree holders to my 2 year degree. But if I had MS certification, it might count for something more.

New The certification with your experience and 2 yr degree
Might equate to a 4yr degree and the plus of having realworld experience.
thanks,
bill

New That is what I am hoping
that getting the certification will make me more valuable to employers, and also allow me to work for a higher salary. I am searching for a training center, and then I'll try to get a student loan to take the classes.
