This one is unbelievable.
By doing those requests... he'd be breaking the DSS and failing.
So, my PCI QSA isn't as stupid as I think...

Wow.

Top commenters got all the high points
The one that made me giggle was, "I have been in this industry longer than anyone on that site ..."
Really? And how do you know that? I mean, that's just plain stupid. --

Yeah...
Since the first one left as our auditor (initials NS) we've had nothing but crap from this new guy.
He *ONLY* interprets things one way. And Things have to be submitted to him multiple times due to him removing them from the "portal" and not leaving them there and promptly losing them. --

Security breach
He keeps deleting important documents. I'm sure you've got some procedure manual somewhere that he's in violation of by doing that.

Yes, but as he says...
He has wide leeway in handling the documents.
After all its a secure Microsoft Sharepoint Server we are uploading to. I believe he is "mapping a drive" and moving things and not caring where. But since his laptop is an encrypted hard drive and only boots with a password... "it is secure enough" And yeah. let not get started with him not understanding that is I have to screen scrape HOW THE HELL is someone going to install software on the firewalls or or routers. And since there is *ONLY* one user for the firewalls and routers... *root* they are all "ZOMG ROOT" shared login... etc. WTFEVER. I'm not paying $50K for a set of Cisco HA Firewalls and another $50K for a set of HA routers. --

Re: Yeah...
This guy makes NS look like a saint. Despite his quirks, I liked NS.
