Windows Phone is the mobile OS that works best for me. Android's too faffy, iOS is too... I dunno. Too something. I don't mind it on my iPad, though. But as a phone OS it just feels a bit cramped. Literally cramped. Works better on a tablet.

Battery life? 10 hours of 3G is pretty much par for the top-end smartphone course. Practically speaking, though, it's all much of a muchness. I'm pretty much never next to a charger - whether at work, in the car (where the phone is navigating anyway) or at home.

NFC? Dunno anything about it. If it works, whoopy-doo, if it doesn't, I've lost nothing.

2GB RAM? Will that make any difference? WP is not a particularly resource-hungry OS.

Edit: Mainly it's the OS and the camera. OIS and peerless low-light performance? Yes please.
