Anybody else noticing issues with Level 3's NY data centre?
I'm seeing really major packet loss going through *NewYork1.Level3.net. Is anyone else seeing this? Going from our production systems to the same hosts goes through telus.net's data centre instead, and there it's damn near instant.
Would love it if someone could confirm so I argue with my ISP to get them to escalate it. |

I could try doing a tracert (or the like) from here if it would help.
I can see the nameservers for that base according to http://host.robtex.c....net.html#records (i.e. ns1.level3.net and ns2.level3.net). Nothing seems amiss getting to the nameservers. There are lots of historical complaints about 100% packet loss with the server base you mentioned, but nothing is showing up for me since 2012. HTH a tiny bit. Good luck. Cheers, Scott. |
