New Tablet bullshit
I've been looking at tablets for the kids. I just discovered tonight that some of the Chinese-made models route all Google Play traffic through google.cn servers. Someone tried a Google search for Tienannmen Square and it returned an error.

This pisses me off so much. One more thing to have to check on every goddam model before making a buying decision.

New Does it matter?
It hard-codes routes to go through China. That's either stupid or suspicious. All I need is to see them doing it for one app and it makes my doubt all of them.

Lots of comments here - http://productforums...arket/qvaigxgOlV4 - dunno how many, if any, are useful.

The Archos 80 G9 Turbo (with ICS) has worked pretty good for me, but I haven't used it a lot. ~ $213 on Amazon. (I doubt it's upgradable to JB, though.)
