New Why does this seem btrieve is back?
http://www.theregist...r_of_cap_theorem/

For those who don't know btrieve, it was a library of funtions for key/value storage on MS-DOS, Unix, and pretty much anything in between. When SQL made it big, they put a sql front end on it, but it was still btrieve.
New never left

New Have any first hand experience with that?
If so, curious about Blackberry integration and Outlook crap that Winders folks are accustomed to.
New looked at it in depth
Was impressed with the integration, took some tooth pulling to get them to admit btrieve was the ass end. Well designed product, reasonably priced.
http://atmail.com/ seemed stagnant for a while but has perked back up nicely. I used it for mobile access in one of my prior gigs.

Novell Netware was the place I saw it and it never left.

I worked with some pretty significant products built on btrieve stuff.

Linux still has some fine implementations of it. Including file systems.
