In just about a month from now, Texas will witness a rare event: a former prosecutor is going to be held to account for alleged prosecutorial misconduct.
It is hard enough to get a conviction over turned, but the possible criminal misconduct charges are because the of the blatant level of misconduct here. The information that over turned the conviction is a blood stained bandana that tied the murder to another man. However, the criminal prosecution misconduct is because Michael's son saw the attack and his description of an attack by an unknown man was turned over to the prosecution but never to the defense. That is well beyond a mistake or even simple misconduct and into blatant false prosecution.
