My take
Speaking as a photo nerd, I can't see what the fuss is about. With a regular camera you'd fix this by either changing the angle of your shot, or using a lens hood.
Bright lights just out of shot will always produce lens flare, and in such small glassware, it's not going to look all scenic and how you expect it to; that's an artifact of the multiple element lenses you find on DSLRs. |
