BConnors

"Prepare for metamorphosis. Ready, Kafka?"
New Well, realistically speaking
they weren't exactly marketing Linux as a desktop before this so I don't see a lot of change.

I mean, when's the last time you saw a Dell ad extolling Linux on anything other than a server?

Aw, we all know they're a bunch of weenies, anyway.
New The myth continues...
"With Linux, the productivity suites just aren't there," London said. As a result, she added, "you're fighting a pretty big uphill battle" to establish the operating system on the desktop.

At last count, there were more "productivity suits" available for Linux than for Windows. But I guess that's not really important...

Astorturf wins! <sigh...>
