New Ninite - Post install downloadable software manager.
You've just installed your OS, now you've got to get your favorite browser, plug-ins, accessories, apps, etc., etc. and wait an eternity for each one to install individually.

Enter Ninite - http://ninite.com/ - Looks neat. It also manages updates. Something like this should have been available long ago.

For Winders and Linux (beta). They have a subscription "Pro" version for managing machines in a business environment.

There's also Puppet, Chef, and CFEngine to do things like this, but those are admittedly more for the sysadmin-types. If the "Pro" version ever really gets used by a sysadmin except to post-config a bunch of Windows boxes to hand out to users, I'd be surprised. Though I've heard that Puppet's getting better at Windows all the same...
