New Android malware doubles in one month

Google seriously needs to get on the curation bandwagon like Amazon has.

Welcome to Rivendell, Mr. Anderson.
New Herewith a commercial/newbie 'solution' + Questions
http://www.smarthome...overy-Tool/p.aspx

Natch, Paraben is unrevealing of the simplicity of their offering--seem to have a flotilla of similar Sticks for other kinds of snooping
and encourage your testing your SO: by reading his/her deleted texts!
Welcome, Judas!

Sounds like a Doze re-run already :-/ 'The Fear.. is in this Room.' (Murrow)
Unclear if this is, simply a deleted-file finder, via whichever OS protocol.. or anything more?
Smarthome panders to the TooMuchMoney-to-Care folks (check other prices) but even so:
Seems a Lot for what must be minimal 'tools'.

Is there, already a cottage industry? Can Norton Phone Works be far behind?
(Or have his epaulets already been macerated.) Captain Midnight's Secret Phone Decoder??
ie. where do you guys get your OS tools for each brand--assemble your own?
New No experience but...
$170 for something that only works on Android versions "up to 2.2.x" seems like something that has a small and shrinking market these days. It's not clear to me that it does anything more than freeware undeletes do, but I dunno.

Symantec would be happy to sell you something for your Android phone - http://us.norton.com...-mobile-security/

Phones and tablets are more powerful than PCs were just a few years ago. One has to imagine that just about anything that can run on a PC will soon be running on Android (subject to the I/O limitations inherent with the platform).

There's a whole cottage industry of hacking these things, e.g. http://www.droid-lif...xus-7-bootloader/ They're a lot braver than me, and apparently have more free time. ;-)

My $0.02.

Cheers,
Scott.
New Ah.. good samples. Thanks; not soon in my future.
