New Cisco stealth upgrade forces web based adminning
From them.
No longer can you alter your router settings (for certain models of course) locally.
And they get access to your home network in the future.
And also forces you to accept full web history tracking!

New Wow... just wow.
I sent a note to my Cisco insider to see what the deal is.

Completely uncalled for.

Welcome to Rivendell, Mr. Anderson.
New Me, too...
About half my old team is still there. I'm going to see if I can get them to talk about it. They might have moved this part of the project to either the east coast or to the installation in India, though. A few years ago, we were doing remote network centric testing, but we weren't keeping detailed data. This is disturbing.

Welcome to Rivendell, Mr. Anderson.
New I heard that as well.
They are still continuing the project development, but it is unknown whether it is just to mothball it, or keep it running under the radar. My info is rumors of rumors at this point.
New radar
They'll never give that ambition up.

IBM is good at two things:
  1. Shooting itself in the foot, and
  2. Reloading.
