This is more of Adobe's incredibly inept marketing.

This is the end of Flash Browser Plugin support on mobile, not the end of the Flash Platform on mobile.

Adobe still supports AIR, which is based on the Flash Platform, and will continue to support and concentrate on it as a vehicle to deliver games and high-end video.

Why Adobe keeps shooting themselves in the foot by failing to mention this in its "end of life" announcements is beyond me.
