one of the reasons they're making $10 a day is because no one thinks it's important.

If they go to jail, THEN it become important. Then people won't hire on for $10 a day to do the job.

More importantly..the $10 a day people THEN offer to cop a plea to stay out of jail. They turn over their bosses who make $100+ an hour. You throw them in jail.

When THOSE guys start to cop a plea - that is what allows you to go after the $1000+ an hour, corner office people.

maybe back pre-1950s, the mobsters kept their mouths shut and didn't rat out the upper bosses. Today they sing like canaries to get into the witness protection program. Look at Gravanno squealing on Gotti Jr.
