New sinus rinse/neti pot warning
The Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals issued its warning following a second death this year caused by Naegleria fowleri, the so-called brain-eating amoeba.
...
"If you are irrigating, flushing, or rinsing your sinuses, for example, by using a neti pot, use distilled, sterile or previously boiled water to make up the irrigation solution," said Louisiana State Epidemiologist, Dr. Raoult Ratard. "Tap water is safe for drinking, but not for irrigating your nose."

New From the "duh" department.
New Well, maybe, but
still a good warning.

I hadn't considered it.

Badass! (and delicious)
New me either
Checking wiki it looks like averages 3 people per year in the US. What few times I'd heard about it where from people swimming in infected water. I'd never considered it something that could be in treated tap water.
New 3 per year? I don't think I'll worry about it
