I looked at the fire
no GPS locked to the amazon app store No google(ie: maps, Mail, or voice search The screen is v nice but I'm going to order the Lenovo Ideapad A1 tablet Not as fast as the fire but it has fulltime GPS and not locked down http://shop.lenovo.c...16814BD79634CB472 I'm getting the blue one with 16GB hard drive For $249.00 will be ordering it next week "Pictures are better then words because some words are big and hard to understand"

Well I did not go with the Lenovo
Thanks to a great coupon from Best buy
I got the samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 plus http://www.samsung.c...ab/GT-P6210MAYXAR and is it fast, lite Great screen had to take the mother to the eye DR today took my tab and my Mifi and played on the web the hole time set was EZ but put photos on it in there files had to do with my xp laptop (no software for macs) but I can now send photo and docs by bluetooth from my mac in all great 7" tab "Pictures are better then words because some words are big and hard to understand"
