I'm pretty pissed about this, and put letters in the mail to the appropriate people - but the problem is, we had some fool over here named Tim Eyeman (SPIT!) gut our tax infrastructure all to Hell. Since every attempt they've made to make up the lost revenue has failed, either due to partisanship or voter initiative drives rammed through mostly by eastern Washington state - there's some weird politics here - and nobody's willing to cut their pet projects.

So, there goes the tobacco settlement...
