New Re: we didn't lose much
Wow, Six Flags Astro World must have *really* sucked if SFGA was better. That place is terrible: short, cramped, boring rides, a hot stuffy park, tons of people smoking like chimneys everywhere, and crappy food.

My favorite time at SFGA was getting stuck in the Superman coaster just inside the ride house after the ride. Due to a design flaw the cars stay in the "flight" position (which was lame to begin with) until just before the riders get out, which meant that we were hanging in an extremely uncomfortable position for a good half hour.

Cedar Point is much better. All of the rides at Great America were pale substitutes.

Welcome to Rivendell, Mr. Anderson.
New Yep, it did
and GA wasn't slightly better, it was significantly better.

You say, "Williams, how can you get away with such political incorrectness?" It's easy. I'm a tenured professor, and I have diversified sources of income -- plus, I don't have much longer in this world.
