Welcome to IWETHEY!

New Ding ding...
Except now Verizon CHARGES YOU EXTRA to do this. $20 for the priv of being a WiFi hotspot. Plus they also charge you $25/month for up to 2GB. and then $75 for up to 5GB.... which is the max.

I'm just tempted to root the damn thing and get "unlimited", since the phone has true unlimited (as in really... no limits) bandwidth.
New Optus would not dare.
Quite apart from the fact it is too easy to buy a phone from elsewhere and just plug your SIM in (I did), but many consumer groups would howl long and loud.

Mind you, the data charges are nearly as obscene. I pay $9/month for 350Mb, which I haven't ever hit, due to carefully training myself to be frugal when it was a 20Mb limit (several phones ago).

Wade.

Q:Is it proper to eat cheeseburgers with your fingers?
A:No, the fingers should be eaten separately.
