Post #333,908 by Another Scott 10/9/10 8:26:25 AM Reply	A hand out a car window shows the physics. :-) It's pretty easy to see that the wind changing direction and pushing on the underside is a much stronger force than "suction" due to the wind traveling a longer distance over the top. It works the same way with mattresses or sheets of plywood tied down on car roofs, too. Cheers, Scott.
